Another personal CrossFit milestone
Very happy to say that last night I had a new personal best on my dead lift at 135KG. Since starting CrossFit last year, I’ve dropped considerable mass (which results in strength loss early on) though while training for the CrossFit Wounded Warrior Games, I’ve developed a lot of it back. At roughly 77.5KG, I was happy with the result.
At that weight, my dead lift is still only 1.74 of my body weight. Goal is to get it to 2 times BW.
Goal: 150KG Dead Lift

Thanks for posting, I love your site.
My partner and I have just started training in crossfit and have been looking for all the different workouts. Can you tell me the different weights for girls and guys on the different workouts and where it is body weight (eg bench press) is it BW added to a 20kg bar or BW is the total weight including the bar? I think you mention this in the site but just want to be clear. Same q for the other weights too.

Just body weight in total – so for me, if I’m doing BW benches, it’s a 20kg bar, plus 37.5KG each size.
Whenever weights are prescribed, it’s always total weight, always include the bar.
As a general rule, girls weights are about 75% of the guys weight. But it’s generally always prescribed on the main page etc.

[...] Sorry it’s been a while – tied up with work and everything. But heaps to update on. Just quickly though, set a new dead-lift PB in early December at 140kg, and then this week at 142.5kg. Ever closer to my 150 goal. [...]
